What types of glazing options are available?
- Standard Double Glazing: Our diverse selection includes standard double-glazed units, featuring toughened safety glass with Low-E properties. These units are 90% argon gas-filled and come with a warm edge spacer-bar. The U-value for these units is 1.2 W/M²K.
- Unglazed: Should you prefer, we can supply the doors unglazed, enabling you to purchase your glass from another provider. Please be aware that choosing this route requires adherence to building codes.
- Staycool Solar Glazing: This innovative glazing solution guards against direct solar heat and glare, while providing thermal insulation in colder months with U-values as low as 1.1. Advanced Staycool technology reflects 57% of solar heat and reduces glare by 35%, all without using tinted glass. This also helps in preserving your flooring and furnishings from sun-related wear and tear.

*All of our glazing options surpass current regulations, specifying a maximum U-value of 1.8. Our standard double glazing achieves a U-value of 1.5, and Staycool delivers around 1.1.
Are the doors secure?
Absolutely! Our SMARTS Visofold 1000 bifold doors include a complimentary upgrade to Ultion cylinders, widely considered the most secure cylinder available. The Ultion system features double anti-snap protection, dual attach locks, 11 security pins (twice the number in standard locks), strengthened security measures, and eight drill defences.
What colour options are there?
We offer an extensive colour palette to help you find the perfect finish for your bifold doors, whether you’re after a modern or traditional look. All accessories such as handles and hinges can be colour-matched to either blend in or contrast with your doors. Additionally, we offer a dual colour feature so that the interior and exterior can have different hues.
Our aluminium bifold doors come with a durable powder-coated paint finish. Popular choices include:

- RAL 9010 (White)
- RAL 9005 (Black)
Due to the high volume in which these colours are produced, they are also the most cost-effective. However, you have over 200 finishes to choose from, including wood and metallic effects.
